    Kathleen Jackson

    I have always been creative but never quite knew what I wanted to do - nothing seemed quite right. It wasn't until my Art Foundation course that one of my tutors mentioned jewellery design as a possible career, and as soon as I heard it I knew it was for me! I based my college work around jewellery and body adornment, before going on to study at degree level. I then spent four years at Middlesex University doing a Jewellery BA Honours Degree, and I haven't stopped since.
    I adore jewellery: wearing it, looking at it, designing it, making it,and am intrigued by the way people form relationships with it. Jewellery is a personal expression and an ancient form of body adornment, and within my blogs I shall discuss my influences, interests and ideas relating to the very broad topic of "jewellery".
